We do not accept prepaid cards at this time. All payments are made through our secure online platform and are processed automatically. Please ensure that you have a valid payment method on file before booking your TRUQIT pickup truck carshare. Also note, 24 hours prior to your trip start or at the time of booking, which occurs last, a pre-authorization hold of $300 will be placed on your selected payment method. At the start of your trip the initial booking charge plus any taxes and fees. Additional time and fuel not replaced will be charged at the end of the trip. Any other incidentals (tolls, mileage, cleaning fees, etc) will be charged as they come in. Yes, a $300 deposit is required to reserve a TRUQIT pickup truck. The deposit amount is refundable upon the return of the vehicle, provided there are no damages or outstanding charges. The deposit is paid by credit card or debit card at the time of booking or 24 hours before the start of your trip whichever happens latest. Please note that the deposit amount will be held as a pre-authorization on your card and will be returned within 7 days of the return of your vehicle.

Each of our trucks is equipped with an EZ Pass Tag. Tolls are charged directly to the TRUQIT account associated with the pickup truck rental plus a $2.50 convenience fee per toll. TRUQIT will charge the credit card on file for any tolls incurred during the rental period. It is important to note that tolls may vary depending on the route taken and location, so please be sure to plan accordingly. Yes, you are responsible for refueling the truck after each use. Please return the vehicle at the same fuel level as at the start of your trip. Fuel level at the start of the trip may not always be at 100% so make a note of the starting fuel level. If you return the truck without replacing any fuel used, you will be charged a fee to cover the cost of refueling. Our current refuel charge is $9.99/gallon. Please make sure to plan your trip accordingly and allow enough time to refuel before returning the truck to the designated pickup location.

Yes, there is a cancellation fee if you cancel your TRUQIT booking less than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time or more than an hour after making your booking (whichever is latest). The fee is 50% of the total booking cost. We understand that plans can change, so we encourage you to cancel your booking with as much notice as possible to avoid a cancellation fee. If you need to cancel your booking, please do so through the TRUQIT app or website.
